It's really a shame that I had only found this place just a couple of years back when I've been here since 2003. I guess it's only when I took on cycling that I got the 'legs' to really explore what Putrajaya (and Cyberjaya) has to offer.

This is the part where this side of the lake is in Cyberjaya, but it is straddled both sides by Putrajaya. So you can traverse to either city by bicycle or walking.

For example, going right about 2km plus from the entrance, you'll encounter a narrow path at the end of the landscaped park, and past a small boom gate (ppl and bikes can easily go across this), you'll be in the Putrajaya aquatic centre, and in succession, the beach, double tree, marina, Heriot watt campus and the Putrajaya 'dam' near PICC.

Go the other way, you'll go quite a distance before encountering the Yayasan Perdana, 2 bridges, the x Park and the Ayer 8. Go past another 2.5km and you'll arrive at the lake club.

It's just super nice all the way, and I think its unlike any other place in...

Wonderful place to do your recreational activity. The place is spaceous and the surrounding facility is well maintained. If you plan to circle around the river, it is recommended to download an app called Tryke to use their bicycle and scooter there. The only downside is that there is no parking space available. Therefore you will need to park at the road side. There is also no nearby toilet.

If you wish to park your car in a parking space, you can park at Kompleks Sukan Air Putrajaya which is connected to Cyberjaya lakeside. In addition to the parking space, toilet, bicycle and scooter service, they also offer ferry trip, boat for water sport, and there is a small section for children to play...

We went there at Saturday 5.30pm. We saw few people were queuing for TRYKE scooter and bicycle infront of the main gate but we decided to look for other scooter. We saw lots of people queuing after come back out, so regret! Luckily there are lots of lots of scooter, so we get to hop on in around 15 minutes of queuing.

The scenario is very nice and we are so lucky that that day is not sunny at all and very windy we even saw rainbow

The only thing is there are too many people it's quite dangerous especially the kids who ride and run very fast their parents won't bother at all. It is very easy to cause accident and if you are imbalance on scooter there are chances you will fell in...

A nice place to walk and exercise. However, in my recent visit I noticed some loose benches - which meant they were not entirely secure for sitting. Worse still, there were wooden slabs left on the ground and nails exposed. I turned it around so that the exposed nails will face the other direction (grass). This is unacceptable and makes it unsafe, especially for young children and elderly who might be oblivous to the loose parts and nails. I hope that action can be taken as soon as possible. Also, unsure why there will be motorbikes/ car on the pavement - isn't it and shouldn't it be for pedestrians only?

Pros: The lakeside was clean and well maintained. It was less crowded even though on Saturday. You may park the car at roadside and it is free. Cons: Went with friends for cycling, fyi it is electric bicycle which you need to download “TRYKE” app to activate. After done cycling, it took us quite some time to figure out how to stop the app and at the same time the rate kept increasing. Isnt it better if there is an instruction on how to use the app to activate / deactivate the bicycle? Other than bicycle, you can rent an electric scooter via TRYKE as well.
