Absolutely beautiful island and beach but the monkeys spoiled my experience. They were incredibly aggressive and tried to attack and bite me chasing me a great distance which prevented me from hiking to police beach as I had intended. The macaques need the fear of man putting back into them, based on other reviews I assume they have become this brazen due to previous tourists feeding them. If you're going to go be aware of this and do not take a backpack nor any food near these monkeys, and keep a distance. They might still try to attack you as macaques often learn they can steal things in order to barter for food but frankly I would avoid going on the trail at all and stick to the beach. The beach itself is...

I visited earlier in November2024. The beach was very calming and less crowded compared to Sapi/Manukan. I saw some rubbish, but the staff cleaned it up quickly. The activities ran smoothly thanks to all the staff, who were also friendly when we had questions. Beware of the big monkeys โ€“ they look scary but the staff will scare them off if they come near. I bought rice, curry chicken, and two soft drinks for around RM30. There are also glamping options, but Iโ€™m not sure if you can rent them, they can improve the condition and rent it? Thereโ€™s plenty of space to rest and swim. Itโ€™s a great place to...

Parasailing available at the beach was terrible! Do not waste your time and 35 bucks. The staff was very unprofessional and did not really care about safety. They were very rude and yelling at us on the boat because we couldn't understand what they were saying, which was not in English. The ride was too short, and they seemed like they just wanted to finish the activity fast and get it over with. Worst snorkeling experience with nothing...

There is a small cafeteria to order dood and drinks, or you can enjoy your home meal at one of the many picnic tables provided along the beach. Shallow waters here filled with fish so be prepared for some snorkeling.
