Alor Lempah (Ampang Pecah) – A Relaxing Family Spot by the River
A peaceful riverside destination that’s perfect for a laid-back family outing or picnic. Located in Kuala Kubu Bharu, Alor Lempah offers calm, shallow waters ideal for children to wade in and adults to relax nearby. The surrounding greenery and well-kept grass area make it suitable for setting up mats or chairs for a relaxing day out.
The mini dam structure and gentle flow of water add a scenic charm to the place. It’s not a waterfall per se, but the river has a series of shallow cascades that are enjoyable for splashing around or simply soaking your feet.
There are basic facilities like huts and gazebos available along the riverside (first-come, first-served), and you can park your car fairly close to the area. Weekends might get a little busy, so coming earlier is recommended to secure a good spot.
📌 Good for: Picnics, kids-friendly water play, photography, and a break from city life. 🚫 Caution: No lifeguards, so always keep an eye on kids. Also, water may look muddy after rain.
