Sarasan Art Park is a place that radiates calm and creativity. There’s no entry fee or charge to view the exhibits, which already says a lot about the spirit of the place. We spent nearly two hours there with a big blob of clay, simply trying to create something of our own.

The highlight of the visit was meeting the ceramic artist, I believe his name is Choi Ming, whose kindness and humility made the experience unforgettable. Our casual conversation with someone from such a different world was the most peaceful and memorable moment of our time in Malaysia.

When we offered to pay for the time we spent there, the artist gently refused. There’s only a small donation box, and we were truly happy to contribute something to this beautiful, soul-soothing space.
