Once upon a time in earlier 16th century, when Malacca was conquered and the straits monopolized by Portuguese, a thousand Duyungs (Dugong) suddenly appear at the Malacca Straits. Portuguese fleets was really scared when they see Duyung and immediately come back to the Malacca port. This occurence saw by a fisherman from Naning Village Malacca, Syamsudin Al-Sumatrani from Aceh, someone from Pati Unus fleets, a merchant from Singapore and a merchant from China. This thousand Duyungs that formed as island was very amazing for them. Together they come over to that thousand duyungs island. tumpuan untuk kaki pancing dn nelayan nelayan kecil mencari pendapatan.berbagai spesis hidupan laut yg banyak terdapat disini, sayangnya kemusnahan ecosistem hidupan maritim, akibat bot bot nelayan pukat tunda telah banyak memusnahkan terumbu karang dn dasar laut yg hancur akibat tidak dikawal ketat oleh pihak maritim.mereka mereka ini seolah tidak bertanggung jwb dn hanya mementingkan dri sndri tanpa memikir akibat dn kerosakan yg berlaku apabila pukat pukat yg ditarik menyebbkan tempat pembiakan dn ecosistem dasar laut musnah dn membunuh benih benih ikan dn ketam yg trdapat disitu.sepatutnya bot bot jenis ini yg mana menunda tarik pukat tidak dikeluarkan lesen kerana ianya lebih kepada kemusnahan dn kerosakan akibat pukat yg ditarik.ini kuga boleh menjejaskan pendapatan bagi melayan nelayan kecil yg hanya menggunakan pukat hanyut dn bubu sangkar.banyak pengusaha pengusaha bubu sangkar telah gagal dn hilang pendapatan, malah bubu mereka juga turut hilang dn berubah tempat apabila bot bot pukat tunda menjalankan aktiviti mereka untuk menangkap ikan secara rakus dn pentingkan dri.apa yg menghairankan ,kenapa pihak penguat kuasa seperti jabatan maritim dn juga perikanan seolah olah tidak mengkaji dn xambik tahu tentang perkara ini.kalau ada sebarang tindakan pon cuma sesekali di jalankan operasi, sedangkan kemusnahan dilakukan setiap hari dn waktu.sat undang undang perlu digubal dn undang undang sedia ada perlu dirombak semula sebagai langkah mengawal dn memastikan kestabilan dn hidupan maritim didaerah ini dapat...

At the other end the taxi drivers were ripping people of with prices trying to charge me 15 ringet to go less than a mile. Told them to swivel and walked it. Oh the sea was blue and the sun...
