To be a public beach in the middle of the city it looks like the government of malta simple does not care about it. It's 13 august 2022 middle of the summer and the beach looks like some dig holes all around and covered the beach of garbage for tourist.

The beach needs a bit of a cleaning, but the place is quite charming otherwise. The area is also nice for a swim, but busy during weekends. Too bad for the cranes in the background and the chaotic buildings around, but hey, this is Malta (sic!)

balluta bay with nice views to St. Julians and Sliema. in front of Balluta square a nice traditional Maltese kiosk with cold drinks and snacks. Prices are good...lot of Maltese people sitting in the evening there. Nice atmosphere

It's a beautiful place, especially at night when the church is shining. But, I don't recommend swimming here, usually it's dirty there, better to walk a bit and swim in front of Independence Garden.

Есть небольшой участок пляжной полосы, к которому ведут каменные ступени. Вдоль залива прилегает променад, соединяющий Баллута с заливом Спинола и побережьем города Слима. Основной достопримечательностью залива Баллута является неоготическая приходская церковь кармелитов - главная и самая красивая церковь Сент-Джулиуса.
