Exiles Bay — Attraction in Sliema

Fantastic spot to enjoy the sea and the sun. Rocky beach but a towel or tiny mattress will do the trick. Several small stairs lead into the see with railing to help you. There is a good path along the coast with several possibilities to go down on the rocky beach. Two pavilions offer all you can possibly drink or eat and there are free toilets. At the end there is a Beachclub and around the corner you can find a huge beach with lots of smooth rocky natural sunbeds. Very popular but rocky beach. Loved among locals so it is has not become too touristy, especially during evenings where the ambience is so romantic.

We took a disposable grill and an outdoor candle with us for our dinner and we did some BBQ there. There are not too many supermarkets nearby so take your food and drinks with you. Mergulhar na Exiles Beach foi uma experiência verdadeiramente incrível. A qualidade visual da água nesta praia apresentou algumas oscilações, com partes dela um pouco turvas devido a alguma agitação, mas, à medida que me aproximava do fundo, a visibilidade melhorava significativamente. Chegando ao fundo do mar, fui recebido por uma água mais clara e um belo tom de azul, típico das águas de Malta. Fiquei impressionado com a atividade marinha, com uma fauna e flora variada.

A atmosfera na praia era tranquila e acolhedora, com pessoas de diferentes idades curtindo do local. Aproveitei minha visita no final da tarde, quando o pôr do sol começava a pintar o céu com cores deslumbrantes. A Exiles Beach, com sua vista privilegiada, é, sem dúvida, um dos melhores lugares para apreciar o pôr do sol na região de Sliema, tanto dentro da água quanto fora. Recomendo vivamente uma visita a este local maravilhoso em Malta.
