Poor park generally.

We arrived Tuesday at 10am having turned up the day before to find it closed on a monday(our fault). The gate was only partly open and a half clothed handyman eating a sandwich appeared whom we asked if the park was open. He informed us it was open at 10am and when we pointed out it was already 10am he told us 5 maybe 10 minutes. It was 25 minutes later when they finally opened the gate. In the intervening period a guy pushed out a sign for food delivery, stared at us and went back inside.

When we did get inside none of the staff payed us any attention and after 5 mins of standing about as they swept water up around our feet we asked and got tickets.

The birds in the cages at the entrance looked healthy but cages were bare and wire bottomed. Inside the park there are a lot of birds but they all seemed to be in cages too small for their species and cages were poorly outfitted. Owls all looked miserable. Kookaburra looked on it's last legs. Cages were barely clean. Open lake with flamingos was dirty. Whole place stank.

Was very small. Signs were poor. Overall a poor...

Sad to see 2022 beautiful birds still kept in small cages. One bird is even only presented in Australia, there is a reason for it! Small cages, owls get way too much sun even though they need shadow and darker places. They don’t even have room to move and clean themselves. Please don’t support this, if you want to support bird live donate those 8€ to a organization that tries to save wildlife worldwide (for example birdlife) You don’t have to see every bird in real life. Most of us probably will never see an polar bear in real life in his real habitat, that doesn’t make our lives tragic or worthless. There is also no „learning“ aspect except for how to NOT treat and keep animals like this. It’s sad how humans always want to make profit of animals because it’s the easiest way to make money but for those animals it costs way too much (their life and freedom) birds are suppose to fly miles and not spend their entire day in those little cages. I hope in my next life I will never be an animal in a world...

Lovely quiet half day visit. Lots to see, from the talking cockatoos to the various owls, storks and others. The flamingos are stunning. We got to feed the huge birds sardines! The cages are nicely set out and lots of cool water features to creat a stunning environment for both birds and visitors. And cats and hens wandering around in perfect harmony, shame we can't learn the same skills! The coffee and cake was delicious too. They also do warm food, but we just had a snack. Nicely looked after resource.

An incredible place to visit. There are so many bird species, and all of them are gorgeous, friendly, and interesting. The lady taking care of them is incredibly friendly, and thoughtful about the birds. She treats them with immense care and love. You can see the birds reactions when she is around, they all get playful and cheery. You can pet an owl and see all sorts of species, from simple chickens, to exotic flamingos, owls and vultures. This place is a must visit. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Looks very nice, but many of the cages are small. Was one lady running the whole place. All the cages need a good clean out and fresh water as some was just filled with leaves and no water. Many of the birds have large patches of feathers missing and look stressed. All of the buildings are closed. Takes about 30/40 minutes to walk through. Not expensive for tickets.
