The Bugibba Temple stands above all in terms of personality. It may not have the size of other temples but that is because it does not have their avarice! Those dolmens extend their touristy tendrils as far as they can across the vast great plains of Malta while Bugibba chillaxes in the sun. But it has chilllaxed too long! Now is the time of Bugibba! Only the weakest and most feeble of the tourists should not visit here lest they be put asunder by the sheer awe that The Temple of Bugibba would bestow upon them. It does indeed possess the greatest amount of historical significance per cubic centimetre of ANY site known to Man. Images of Bugibba may deceive you. Do they seem like mere rocks? "Not really worth the look" (as one foul reviewer of ill intent has put it)? It is an illusion. The glory of Bugibba cannot be perceived through the lense of a camera nor words on a screen. Go there now or live the remainder of your Bugibbaless life in ignorance! Godspeed to you!

We can complain that such a treasure is just in the middle of a leisure area inside the hotel, with no fence, but on the other hand, that implies it's well kept and secure, and I agree with those who said that the combination of ancient and modern architecture ends up to be enjoyable.
For sure it's a unique case in the world, I think ....a hotel that can offer a neolitic temple among its features! Crazy
And yes...the access is totally free They...
Read moreThis place is definitely not clickbait. I didn't watch Rare Earth's video on YouTube before coming here. In fact, I went here way before that guy did - 5500 times ago. I ignored the dozens of other unbelieveable unimpressive megalithic temples in Malta. There is no Hamilton here. The other megaliths are boring. Do not disrespect this site when you go there. The stones are small, but still impressive :) Since I'm not a tourist, I didn't use a tourist map to find the place. Ignore the hotel that surrounds it. Also ignore the drunks in the pool, or else you won't hear yourself talk. This temple is an important temple. I can't believe that the president of UNESCO isn't doing...
