With my colleagues we went to visit this little gallery in Nouakchott. We were only guests when we came there after 16:00 there is no entrance fee and we were able to take pictures from gallery exhibitions of African art, all of the art was for sale but we were not equipped with enough cash so we did not buy anything..First we met only local staff but later came probable the owner lady because she spoke French and as we found out she is Portuguese we spoke with her English. The place is nice hidden gem in area of private housing and schools. They also organising farming markets on Saturday with locals offering cakes, coofees and teas but we were busy so had no chance to come again. We highly recommend visit this...

On my initial visit, a nice young local man showed me around the property and let me know there is a Saturday "farmers market." I returned on Saturday and found some really fresh produce AND I treated myself to lemon tarts and mini-quiches. Nothing was cheap, but everything was delicious!
