The GRSE Waterfall, also known as the Grand River South East Waterfall, is a stunning natural attraction located in the Flacq district of Mauritius. Google Review for Grand River Southeast Waterfall, Mauritius

⭐⭐⭐☆☆

The Grand River Southeast Waterfall is a beautiful natural spot, but there are some issues to be aware of. The scenery is stunning, and the waterfall itself is worth seeing, but the experience was not as enjoyable as expected.

Firstly, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, so make sure to bring insect repellent. Secondly, security is a concern. When I visited with my wife, a man approached us asking for money, and we noticed him doing the same with other tourists. This can make visitors feel uneasy, especially if you are alone or in a small group.

The place does not feel as well-maintained as before, and it’s important to be cautious. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend going in a group and being mindful of your surroundings. While the waterfall itself is worth seeing, some improvements in safety and maintenance would make the experience...

Our plans for visiting Mauritius were nil. We simply wanted to get away to a far away place, enjoy the resort, relax, and take some much needed time out; however, that was put on the back burner when we were invited on a luxury full-day speedboat tour with One Love Co Ltd, and we were so pleased we took them up on the offer.

One of many stops, Grand River South East Waterfall was the highlight of our trip. Slowly sailing along the river under a canopy of trees we, were met by this stunning waterfall, where our skipper expertly manoeuvred the boat close enough for us to take pictures and feel the spray of the water. As we made our way back down the river, we made a short stop to feed the wild monkeys, where I was doubled over laughing by a terrified passenger after one of the largest monkeys of the troop decided to board the boat 🤣🤣.

It was the best way to end on what was simply an...

📌Save this post when you in Mauritius 🇲🇺 I booked with @oceanecruisesmauritius for me and my parents to enjoy for the whole day. I highly recommend them, you get to see ile Aux Cerfs island, Snorkelling and visiting the Grand River South-East waterfall and then having some chill time on the beach 🏝️. The lunch on board is amazing! But the best part is the vibe on the catamaran and the crew 🤍🛥️. I paid around 220AED (R1100) per person 🧍. We drove to the dock but you can arrange with them for transportation from your hotel or airbnb. Remember to bring: -swimming costume -towel -camera - hat 👒 - sunscreen 🧴 #mauritius🇲🇺 #mauritius_explored #mauritiusgirl #mauritiusexplored #mauritiusisland #mauritiusguide #mauritiustips #mauritiusitinerary #catamaran #tour #mauritiuscatamaran #traveltheworld #travelcontentcreator #travelcommunity #oceanecruisesmauritius #oceanlife
