We were excited about a two‑night family stay in a Prestige Golf Suite booked through Ticketbox.mu, but Anahita fell far short of expectations.||What went wrong||Check‑in & service: After a brief tour, we were left in the restaurant to wait for our room. Staff placed their own meal orders while ignoring us because we only wanted dessert.||Suite condition: Though the upgrade to a spacious three‑bedroom suite was welcome, the furnishings felt dated (old Samsung TV) and the private plunge pool was dirty, littered with leaves and insects.|Dining:||Bliss - Our daughter’s “grilled” chicken nuggets arrived raw, then came back over‑cooked and dry; chicken in the poke bowl tasted stored far past its best.||Bliss – Became our only option once we discovered, without prior notice, that the main restaurant Origin was closed. Friday night offered zero atmosphere; a band on Saturday provided the sole entertainment highlight.||Il Forno - The only restaurant at the resort which serve okey food with good service.||Bathroom issue: After filling the bathtub, the room was flooded with water. We had to call maintenance, which was frustrating and unexpected at a resort of this level.||What went right||In‑suite breakfast on Saturday was fresh and enjoyable.||Room size and layout were generous for a small family.||Overall, we felt misled by the marketing. Anahita needs a thorough refresh of its rooms, better hygiene standards for pools, consistent restaurant availability, and much tighter food quality control before it can justify its...
Read moreThoroughly enjoyed our 7 days here from start to finish. The staff cannot do enough for you and standard all round was excellent. |From arrival at reception we were made to feel welcome, getting around the resort is easy via the buggy service and nothing is too much trouble - even pick up with golf clubs. The boat across to the island golf is also super frequent and easy. |Quality of food and service in the restaurants, in our experience was again fantastic. Menus are big enough to allow for a good variety and the standard of food, including in the buffet restaurant is excellent. Shirley in Il forno was lovely. |Drinks are also fantastic with a great variety and good standard of cocktails. The bar staff are very accommodating and were willing to make us anything based on our preferences. All were excellent and stand out bar staff are Yogesh, Vinaye and Kisloo. |The golf at Anahita is wide and long and provides good advantage to the red tees. Suggest checking out competition times before booking a stay as there can be quite a few events that prevent play. The staff at the club are again super accommodating though and it did not cause us any issue. |Ils aux Cerfs course was my personal favourite and up there with the best courses in the world. It does require a different strategy and good course management as it is short and tight - but wow! What views and immaculate tees, fairways and greens. |All in all a fantastic stay and we really hope to...
Read moreAnahita Resort is undeniably breathtaking , a true paradise nestled in nature. The setting is incredibly peaceful, serene, and offers the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. The property itself deserves a full 5-star rating.||However, the service sadly does not match the high standards expected from a resort of this caliber. While some staff members were polite and professional, a few left a lasting negative impression. On multiple occasions, there was no greeting or assistance when taking the club car, which felt cold and unwelcoming. A smile and a simple "hello" can go a long way in hospitality.||The buffet experience also fell short. It was often chaotic and poorly managed. Breakfast, in particular, was disappointing especially the egg station. The lady preparing the eggs consistently got our orders wrong, even after clear instructions. It became frustrating rather than enjoyable, which is unfortunate for what should be one of the best parts of the morning.||Anahita has so much potential and truly offers a dreamlike location. If the management could focus on improving the quality of service and training staff on hospitality basics, this place would easily become a top-tier luxury destination in every sense.||Until then, it’s a 5-star location with a...
