Such a hidden gem! The main prang here is massive and looks super impressive, especially in the soft morning or evening light. The place is full of history and peaceful vibes—perfect for slow walks and taking in the ancient atmosphere.

You’ll find old Buddha images, ruins of prayer halls, and cool stone carvings everywhere. It’s not crowded, so you can really take your time and enjoy the beauty without the rush.

I recommend bringing a hat, some water, and comfy shoes. Also, it’s not far from the main historical park, so it’s easy to do both in the same trip. Great for history lovers or anyone who enjoys old temples and quiet...

Wonderful place, quite a way away from the historical park but we'll worth the effort to get there. A most impressive historical monument that is integrated into a functioning temple. It was quiet when I visited on a Friday morning, but judging by the number of stall lining the road and bring prepared for business when I left, I guess it gets pretty full in the afternoon and at weekends. No entrance fee as it is a functioning temple, but obviously any donations will...

one of the oldest temples of Si Satchanalai Historical Park. The large temple is located East of the historic walled town in Chaliang, on a small peninsula almost entirely surrounded by the Yom river.
