Very commercialized. Tons of vendors everywhere. Ruins were amazing but they close off large sections at 4:30 so you can’t even enter even though they are open until 5. We were late arriving due to travel issues and would have been super happy with even 10 mins to access the one section we really wanted to see but at 4:30 to the minute they cut people off. In the main area they are whistling at you and directing aggressively to exits at 4:45. If they are going to sell tickets until 4 o’clock, for the cost, they should definitely not be pushing people...
Read moreOne of the modern world wonders lived up to the expectation. The day was hot but we enjoyed every bit of the visit. It had a lot of open areas for pictures and the clapping experience reminded me of something similar in Golconda fort in India.
Historical significance of the place adds to the charm and the vendors selling souvenir need to be haggled with for a good discount. We ended up paying similar to what we would pay at bigger supermarkets but it felt great to haggle a bit and still...

If you visited Mexico through TUI this is worth doing as you arrive at the park before it opens so it’s not as crowded and the sun isn’t beaming yet. We had a lovely tour guide.
