I would highly recommend going inside the museum first and read about the history. All of the signs are in Spanish and in English. The gift shop is also amazing. A must see if you are interested in pre-Columbian history. The Paquime archeological site (the museum is on the grounds) is the largest settlement outside of central Mexico. The museum is beautiful.
