This beach is across from the INM office in Manzanillo. I had planned to eat lunch at one of the restaurants but none were open.

The beach itself was clean and very quiet. There were armed national guards posted. Though a little intimidating to see as a foreigner, I know the beach is safer with their presence. People were in the water.

Appeared safe and comfortable to cool off. No big waves, very calm. It was pretty amazing to see one of the massive freighters pass by, being escorted from the channel.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to get you’re feet wet, this is it. There is a hotel, corner store and a few restaurants on the street and the beach. Good...

A beautiful coastal spot on Mexico’s Pacific side! 🌴 The beach offers warm waters, soft sand, and stunning sunsets — perfect for relaxing or a casual swim. Nearby seafood spots serve delicious local dishes, especially ceviche. 🐟

The port area is one of the busiest in Mexico, mainly for container shipping, so it’s more industrial, but fascinating if you’re into maritime activity. 🚢 You can often see large cargo ships docking and operations running smoothly.

Great blend of natural beauty and maritime hustle. Ideal for a beach stroll with a view of the Pacific and port in...

The beach is dirty and the water is full of detritus, mostly plastic. It might be a nice place to go if it was clean, but it is not. The majority of bars are not open in Kate January 2022, therefore there are no facilities.
