Mariscos Doña Ceci — Restaurant in Colima

Exceptional "mariscos" dishes! Since one of us worked in China many times and knows how Chinese cooks outside adapt their excellent dishes to supposedly appeal to foreign tongues, we don't eat Chinese food outside of China. We had the special fish dish and the one with tamarind sauce, with the Mexican starters of guacamole mixed up with salsa Mexicana to add more spice. Both fish dishes were more than excellent. Prices were almost half of what similar main dishes were in other restaurants. Service is very polite, effective and quick. By the way, sit outside on the far end of the restaurant and enjoy the boats and water birds. The only issue is that it closes at 7:00 pm, and hence you cannot enjoy dinner there during common Mexican dinner time hours. They need to reconsider that. Highly...

Nice place, nice scenery and location. Service was dry and not very attentive. Don’t expect chips and salsa traditional of Mexican restaurants. Menu was interesting, with a mix of sea food and Asian dishes🤷‍♂️. We ordered guacamole and tostadas, seafood chabela (cocktail) whole fried fish, and tuna steak. The guacamole was excellent. The chabela was watery and at room temperature, unusual for a sea food cocktail. The fish was nicely cooked and tasty. Pésimo lugar, fuimos de trabajo a su estado Manzanillo y Google nos lo recomendó en primer lugar como establecimiento. Las que te reciben sentadas con el celular no se pararon para recibirnos, pasamos a la mesa y tardaron en llegar, de mala gáñannos dijo la mesera que no hacen cuentas por separado y pienso ende no facturan por consumo individual, o sea es lo que ellos dicen o les acomoda FISCALMENTE, hicieron una excepción y nos cobraron como ocupábamos las cuentas, pero ya es lunes y ni de broma llegan las facturas, esto fue el jueves en la tarde noche.
