This is completely a robbery and hell😤😡😠🤬😈 I wish I had seen all the reviews on Google with one star. PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT. The hotel system is AS TERRIBLE AS HELL. And the whole park is a rob. A. No card payment, no ATM, it's april WITHOUT AC!!!!!!!!! 🥵 B. For such a big place like this, they don't have an online reservation system. They told me that they always have rooms and I called two hours before arriving, they didn't tell me anything about the broken AC and there is a lack of double rooms. C. I was ROBBED when I checked in by paying USD and if you cashed out from the store, they charge you 10%. D. I paid for 2 days of staying in the park then of course I regretted. I couldn't get a refund of the entrance ticket. E. Those people just take an advantage of this beautiful view and stupidly innocent tourists. NEVER VISIT IT AGAIN. D. The view is great. I recommend everyone not to stay in the hotel just but just come over for one morning. E. The hotel construction is also very interesting😙. They say that it's new. But apparently the genius architect put the second corridor right behind the window of the first line bathroom. If you walk on the corridor, you smell other guests' waste gas😌What a meditation!🧘♂️ F. The Internet works like you're living in...

With that said. This is a beautiful place with very little amenities. There are two hotels within the pools area one has AC and one does not. But this isn’t the RITZ. Super basic rooms. CASH IS KING. No ATMs.
The water is clean and security is strict about food. You have to bring thermal water bottles. No plastic. The drive is long along super windy mountains. I wouldn’t recommend driving at night.
Bring your own towels and flip flops or water shoes. Although water shoes aren’t necessarily needed unless you have...
Read moreWe have driven to Tolantango several times. We have enjoyed it every time. The rooms on the property are definitely good enough but not amazing. The restaurants serve authentic Mexican cuisine at very affordable prices. Take cash, they don't accept any other form of payment. The cave is incredible. A waterproof headlamp or flashlight would be helpful for a little exploring. I recommend renting a locker outside the cave and tunnel. The cost of the locker is $150 pesos. $50 pesos are refunded when you...
