Best tequila tasting experience of my life. Sergio was our guide when we arrived and he gave the full history of tequila and showed us how is properly made in mexico. He also showed us how to make chocolate and how to add flavor. How to make tortillas and three salsas they used. Best of all, we got to taste it. Both the chocolate and the handmade tortillas. At the end of showing us how tequila is made, we were able to try all the different ages and flavors they had of tequila. I had to have the peanut butter and my husband bought the 3 year aged tequila. If we lived there, I'd buy them all. The tequila is by far the best I've ever had. Along with tasting, Sergio taught my husband and I a new cheers when taking alcohol. I only ever knew one, (Arriba, abajo, al Centro, pa dentro). Which we said first. Sergio really helped me get my husband into the Mexican spirit. My family is from Mexico and it was nice to see all the artifacts and tools I remember watching my abuela use for making our food being used here. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped foot inside. I highly recommend the place being a stop on any tour you have on Cozumel. This place is beautiful and well kept. The tequila is amazing and well worth every dollar. This place gave us a wonderful and memorable experience. Also, BONUS, Sergio watches Naruto AND has a curse mark tattoo.

I hate to admit it, but Cozumel tequila tours are an impressive scam, I bought 3 bottles. The name of the liquor doesn't matter, if you go back in the reviews they keep switching the labels and stories as reviews like this emerge. Here are the red flags I ignored for a tour that was a thin veil to sit you down and sell you over priced "tequila" from a [fictional] multi-generational artisanal operation. 1) Just like cheap beer, they have you drink it cold to numb the senses. 2) I did not see them open a new bottle, because they did a switcheroo. I will admit whatever I drank there was GOOD, but it was NOT the same stuff in the bottles I bought. My purchases burned like something out of a plastic bottle going down. 3) If you pay with a credit card they are prepared for charge backs. They will ask for a signature and and ID so it is almost impossible to get a refund. 4) The place is setup like an assembly line, down to the pre-wrapped bottles. I recommend doing the tasting, drinking the good stuff they serve -- but DON'T buy a single bottle unless you need an over priced engine degreaser. The stuff at the grocery store will not burn, even at room temperature. The Fiesta driver insisted we stop on the way to what we really wanted to do which was see the Mayan ruins. Not sure how much kickback they received.

We went to a couple of different tequila tour tastings, and we like this one the most due to them making freshly made chocolate and handmade tortillas/tacos in front of us. We actually preferred the tequila from here more than another tequila tour. I have read that the bottles you buy have different tequila in them in order for them to potentially rip you off. We bought 2 bottles of the extra anejo from here, and I will say that it does taste the same as the one we taste tested. Maybe they do that at other locations, but I really don't believe that they would do that here. Great spot.

We were on a tour of Cozumel through our Carnival Cruise excursion and our amazing guide Charly brought us here and so thrilled he did!

The history and tasting tour was so much fun and informative! The tastings of the chocolate, the tortillas, and the tequila were all delicious!

We ended up buying five different bottles of tequila here as we simply couldn’t choose just one - they are all superb in taste and love the way they are bottled. I was worried about how to safely transport them back to the US but the staff here even packaged them all up beautifully so we could carry them with us (and they never came close to being damaged).

Highly recommend the tour and the tequila!! One of the best...
