Campo Charro Jalisco — Attraction in Jalisco

AMAZING!!! Only a 10 minute uber ride from central Guadalajara. Cheap, clean, covered from sun, and great for all ages! This is a great example of culture, history, and traditional Mexican sport all in one. My husband and I had issues trying to book a trip through an agency so we decided to just catch an Uber straight to Charro Jalisco. This not made our trip more authentic but also saved us a lot of money. Entry fee was 50 pesos per person which is less than $3 US dollars. They had beer, tequila, sodas, snacks and food. All for very cheap. We each had 3 drinks, chips, and left a $10 tip to our guide and still ended up only spending $25 dollars total. We arrived at 1130 and the event began at 12. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by one of the Charros (Jesus/ chewy) who spoke English and gave us a tour around the facility, a history lesson, and free horse back riding lessons after the event. Such a fun place to see the charrería. Great atmosphere great shows and always super exciting. It starts everything Sunday around 12 and it finishes around 2:30.
