Everything in this museum can be seen in less than an hour. They do offer guided tours but to be honest, I feel like reading off of the writing on the walls is more informative. Many of the exhibits are centered on different kinds of animals, like the capybara and the sloth, while the beginning portion of the museum explores the contents of the start of the universe and subsequent formation of the planet. The massive fossil of the mammoth is something you cannot miss as it is in one of the main areas of the building and is a sight to behold.
I honestly expected to spend more time here but was upset to find that one of the exhibits was under some type of remodeling or construction. It was also not that busy for a Saturday afternoon which was really pleasant.
Bear in mind that everything in writing is in Spanish and they do not have tours in English. Despite this, it is still rather entertaining just looking at the several exhibits as they have a lot on display and much to observe.

We were invited to join them, but since we needed English translation we told them that it wouldn't work for us. They were so gracious and suggested we go ahead of them and gave us 5-10 minutes lead, how amazing was that! Now for the artifacts in the museum, wow, 😲 WOW. There is comple sabertooth and a Mammoth complete!! Plenty of explanations, maps, graphs, and fossils. This place doesn't disappoint, on the contrary, it is worth visiting again and again....

Museum of paleontology wasn’t bad. You can do it in 30 min. It’s small and needs a revamp, but it was something to do and I like history.
