The place is not nice, as the videos and photos. Food is expensive, the customer service is horrible, if you don't buy food the workers don't let you go to some places that supposedly are reserved. the Zipline is a nice experience but they don't let you take your phone to take pictures because they want to sell you the photos they take and extremely expensive, it's only from the 1st to the 4th Zipline. They said it's 10 Ziplines but they count a double Zipline as two. I had a really bad experience in the river, we were taking pictures on the swings, i had beach shoes and I Stepped on a roofing nail going approximately one inch into my foot. I had to take it out and my friend went to the office and asked for help. After waiting for them in pain for 10 minutes, one of the secretaries came with a kit aid, not even saying a word to me or asking what happened, with a really bad attitude, almost mad and just told me that these things happened all the time and started "cleaning" the wound, I asked if i had to go to the doctor, and she said no. After that she just stood up and left not asking if i was feeling good or anything. I just had to sit down for the rest of the time waiting for my transportation to arrive in 2 hours. When I was on my way out i waited for someone from the staff to at least be empathetic and ask about the accident but they never did. I left and i will not return because for the money I spent on the tour i was expecting more of what I got in attention and the service at least.
P.s. there is a territorial pelican that doesn't let you...
Read moreNice location, the location us actually beautiful. However, keep the following in mind:
-You won't be allowed to bring any sort of snacks or drinks. A clear tactic to try to get you to purchase overpriced food and drinks. -They will say that phones are not allowed, so that you cannot take any pictures. They will have 1-2 photographers per group and they will snap some cool pics that they will then push really hard for you to purchase at a ridiculous 400 pesos/picture. -If you were told there are 13 ziplines, that's false. There are only 8, and only 3 of them are actually good ones. The rest are barely 15-25 meters and last not even 5-10 seconds. -If you use their transportation, expect for the ride to take 1-2 hours from/to the city.
It seems that the whole experience is just aimed at finding the way to get the most money out of you rather than ensuring you have a good time. The staff is actually very friendly but if you are coming for the canopy, please looks elsewhere and save yourself a disappointment.
Bottom-line, nice location, awful canopy.
I cannot...
Read moreI’ve done zip lining in the states before, but it doesn’t compare to zip lining in the jungles of Puerto Vallarta. Getting there was just as scary as the actual zip lining. We traversed on narrow dirt roads up into the jungle in a big bus. Once we arrived, they took us to the restaurant to order food (not included) for when you are done zip lining. The zip lining experience it self was scary but extremely thrilling. Being that high gave me the shakes, but after my second zip line, I started to feel comfortable. The staff made sure to involve myself and partner, as we don’t speak Spanish. Overall, it was so much fun and would do it again. I highly recommend a lot of bug spray and be ready to spend most of your morning and afternoon there, as it is a hike to get there and the return is on a timed bus that everyone takes back. We left at 10:30AM and got back to our resort...
