First thing first there are two theme parks next to each other, "El Eden where part of the movie the Predator was filmed" and "Edenva" I never been to El Eden but Edenva has a lot more good reviews and pictures. The zipline guides 10 stars if I could. Restaurant server solid 3 star. Food price to portions a 1 star, very expensive with small portions. Food quality and presentation 4. The bus tour picked us up in zona romantica PV to bring us to the park. When we arrived they give us our wrist band and have us go to a tequila tasting shop, they were really nice and friendly after the presentation they don't pressure you into buying their product but buy one if you like. After the tequila tasting they have you choose your seat at their restaurant and will precure you to order before you go zipline, they will tell you to better order now so your food will be ready when you are done zipline, don't fall for this you don't have to order, you can order after your zipline or just order drinks, we ordered because we wanted too. When the server brings your bill the gratuity will be included on the bill and is almost a 20%. Zipline experience was amazing, the guides are funny and very experienced, trust me you are very safe, is only one big hike at first then little hikes after, and they have water stages as u go up so don't worry about that. They will ask for a tip at the end but these guys i didn't mind tipping. They will have you put your phones away because at the end they will sell you the pictures they took with their own camaras. They wanted almost $2,000 pesos!!! for our pictures and we said no. Over all it was a good experience, would I do it again probably not but Im glad we did it. I mainly did it for...
Read moreEvery visit gets better. The new owner is constantly making improvements and additions. New, 15 zip lines that rival any other zip attraction around Vallarta. Back and forth through the jungle and above the river! It will be awesome. The entire park is clean, well maintained and beautiful. No matter how crowded they may be on any day, you will locate a special spot all by yourself if that is desired. Swim/slide off boulders into water, listen to birds sing as the river rushes next to you. Take a riverfront nap in hammocks! A new large grassy area with chase lounges await you, right next to the waterfall! It is gorgeous and peaceful. A new adult area has been created! Lush foliage, large grassy area, great area to get in the river too. A spectacular view of the Predator Helicopter is close and easy to see and photograph. even though the copter is on another property. Hike up the trail, following the river the entire way is awesome. We found several sandy areas at the rivers edge to enjoy, then swam in the swimming holes. Great drinks and the restaurant menu has many options to choose from with very reasonable pricing. A gracious and friendly staff is there to assist you. Don't be fooled by high priced guided tours to a decades old and run down tourist spot that is crowded, expensive and overrated. Try EdenVa Natural Park to appreciate the beautiful area of El Eden.
"El Eden" is not a tourist attraction. El Eden is the mountainous area above Mismaloya where EdenVa is located. The road ends at EdenVa. ...
Read moreI went with a party of 15 and even though the larger part of the restaurant was empty and didn't fill up at all between the time we arrived and the time they closed it took about an hour to seat the whole group.. besides that, the food was great and the service was mediocre, I work in the restaurant industry as a bartender, I'm being gracious with my description of the service, but they were polite.
The swimming area... was beautiful and refreshing, most of us took a turn on the small rock slide which was cool and fun if you're careful enough climbing up and sliding down. No life guards! So just make sure you are aware that you are swimming at your own risk, which was fine for my group, having experience with small waterfalls and such in our own little hometowns.. my point is that this is a small establishment owned and operated by small businesses and this is not an American corporate business and that you have to be careful and take all precautions while having fun.. I hope everybody enjoys their time here..
If you can and are experienced try taking the awd vehicles up and down the mountain to visit this spot makes it much more fun.. or even hiking.. IT IS A BUMPY RIDE UP AND...
