Went to this location through Vallarta Adventures as a beach day trip after scuba diving. This place was a lot of fun. A lot of fun. It is like a little cove or inlet on an island. There are chairs to relax on, a bar to get beer or non alcoholic drinks at, two different kinds of sand - the main one being more like pebbles. And also this little COLD water area that blends into the ocean. Like a creek filtering into a little pond. It had tadpoles and everything.

Pretty strong waves. If you don't have sure footing, they're definitely pushing you 10-15 feet. It was fun being with a group, because I felt safe to play in the waves without worrying it's game over if something suddenly pulled me...

Beautiful beach with fairly clear water accessible by boat only. We took a tour from PV with Vallarta Adventures. Cheaper price if you book 3 days in advance (online). The water was decent for snorkeling out near the rocks but it was still fairly wavy so visibility wasn't super great. Maybe time of year makes a difference too. I only gave 3 stars because they don't allow outside food or drink (at least with Vallarta Adventures). They searched our bags before we left even. Once there, prices are astronomical! So it is hard to enjoy a drink or food when it's so expensive. But service was great otherwise and the beach...

Magnificent beach. If you choose to go alone (i.e. not with a tourist boat $$$) pack food & beverages: there is only one beverage stand open uniquely for tourist boats; non-passengers are not allowed to access, and they close upon boat's departure. Book a roundtrip with your water taxi, and agree upon the time for the pickup. We went on a Monday and, besides the temporary feeling of being stranded without food & water and a scheduled return water-taxi, enjoyed a beautiful few hours watching fish & jumping in gentle waves on a...

Absolutely stunning. The sea was quite rough when we arrived so it was a hop off the boat and swim on to the beach. That wasn't an issue at all. They had refreshments when we got there and we had time to just sit and relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Love this place went last November with royal caribbean. The food was amazing, the people that work on the Playa are welcoming and friendly. The dog and cat that live there are friendly and sweet. The water is nice. Just a great family beach day.
