El Palacio de Hierro Santa Fe — Attraction in Mexico City

Staff in the facial care area are extremely unknowledgeable of the products they are selling. Specifically at the Shiseido boutique. Trying to give a new company a shot, I went in asking for daily moisturizer with SPF, I was sampled one product on my hand and then sold on another after they claimed the ONLY difference was the SPF levels. So the next day I'm excited to try on the new product. I needed a daily use sunscreen, so I put it on top of my other daily products and my face looks good not too oily and lightweight. The issue was that when I went out for se fun with friends getting off the car I am embarrassed to find out my face has turned to a ridiculously pale time due to the sunscreen. I had to turn back home as I looked like a clown. Bottom line is, DON'T go to these stands inside Palacio de Hierro unless YOU are familiar with what you are buying and not going based off the supposedly experts recommendations. No returns on these products even after their workers...

This has got to be one of the best department stores in North America, perhaps in the Americas. This is a fabulous store with all of the global brands. It is fresh and current with fashion and style.

In the lower level are all of the branded boutique shops. I can't think of a famous brand that was missing. More general fashions are on the upper levels. On the top floor is an amazing food court.
