The central library of UNAM CU has almost any book, if you are a student you can remove them without any problem being your UNAM credential, so this library has a great history for its architecture and materials with which it was built so the history that recounts in its walls, this library is open every day, it is also a very quiet place. We didn’t go inside, but great to photograph and set in a nice campus feel. The campus as a whole is a UNESCO heritage site, but the library is the stand out building (incidentally the easiest to reach from the city centre too).
There are campus busses to get around, but be aware they don’t run very frequently (if at all) on weekends during holidays! We ended up walking a lot to see the length...
