I am beyond disappointed with Sabal and how poorly they treated us. They are also huge scammers so please be careful!!!!
They sold us a package for $250 that included 20 “visits” and every visit we were allowed to bring “unlimited” amount of guests according to them (I called them two times and they confirmed this information to me verbally over the phone twice.)
As it turned out later they actually meant 20 “passes” not 20 visits and the limit was 20 guests total. Basically you could either come by yourself 20 times or come one time and bring 19 guests with you.
The problem is that we found out that this was the case after our 6th visit when they informed us that we had only 2 visits left. The girl at the front desk (actually the same girl I spoke on the phone) did not want to take any responsibilities for the deceiving information she gave me. And shockingly neither did their manager David, who was supposed to “manage” the place but obviously failed. He was very passive about the whole situation and kept saying: “I’m sorry. What do you want me to do now?” Really, David????? Really??? YOU tell me how you plan to fix this ugly mess, YOU take responsibility for your unprofessional and not well trained staff. I was not there to tell you how to do your job and how to handle situations like this. I was there to relax and enjoy my vacation, I was there to support you guys during these super challenging times, but instead of fixing YOUR mistake you decided to blame me for “misunderstanding.” UNBELIEVABLE. So unprofessional and so rude.
Honestly, money was not the issue at all. I would totally pay $250 for 20 passes, but that is not what they promised. What made me really mad is that they did not want to admit it.
We definitely won’t go back and we definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone. Huge, huge, huge disappointment. SHAME ON YOU Sabal Playa Beacb Club!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!! You should not treat your customers like this. It is unacceptable.
Oh, and one more thing: they didn’t even bother to reply to my email. So that just confirmed that they don’t care about their reputation or about their customers at all. This way of doing business won’t...
Read moreThis is an interesting concept of beach club and restaurant. You pay 500 pesos per adult to sit on the lounges, and purchase drinks and food there. It includes towel service and hotel like showers. The pool is an infinity pool and there is also a kids area. It's a nice place to spend the day and go home showered without sand. When I was there restaurant was under renovation but still had service at lounges. Usually is better to make reservations but while renovation is first come first serve. Space is limited to lounges and they are spaced apart for small groups....
