(Larger than Chichen Itza).The histories & cultures from pre-history, Toltec, Chichimeca (the list is very long)-- shared this same sacred space for each of their times here on earth. The Museum is located a short walk from the entrance. It is small and comprehensive featuring a model of the pyramid as well as actual findings from the site. there are also lengthy explanations about the inhabitants of the place and how they interacted with the greater mesoamérican region. Si vas a Querétaro, ciudad hermosa y en constante evolución, no debes dejar pasar la oportunidad de visitar el cerrito. Cuando piensas en culturas prehispánicas, puede venir a tu cabeza Teotihuacan, Chichen Itza o Xochicalco. Pues un lugar también lindo y con una gran historia es el cerrito en Querétaro, lugar por donde pasaron gran cantidad de rutas comerciales de los antiguos imperios prehispánicos. La principal atracción es una enorme pirámide, donde se pueden ver dos de sus cuatro caras, ya que la mitad se encuentra cubierta por la vegetación. En la punta de la pirámide, a finales del siglo XIX, el dueño de aquellas tierras construyó una edificación llamada fortín. Te volará la cabeza ver el contraste.
