We visited on Tuesday, with friends, we shared a taxi (200 pesos from Centro Bacalar) We arranged a time for the taxi to collect us as there is no mob reception, though there is WiFi there to use WhatsApp if you have a taxi number. Its a river inlet, so completely different to the lake. Only 50 pesos per person and you can take your own picnic. We hired kayaks for 100 pesos per hour, so we kayaked out on to the lake and stopped at Sac Ha just to the left to have a swim and to see the Stromatolites. I learned a lot about the 7 color lagoon & the water was breathtaking. I would definitely go again & next time make sure I bring my phone in a waterproof case to take pictures in the water. They also charge for the gazebos and tables which was a bit weird but the place is really nice and the kayak tour is worth it. To get to los rapidos you need to rent it at least for 2h it's quite far and you need to be pretty fit paddeling upstream again and all the way. But it's also nice to just paddle out...
