What an incredible experience! The Cenote Mariposa serene atmosphere and stunning beauty made this spot totally worth a visit!
❤️ What I Loved ✅ Beautiful Setting: The cenote is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and crystal-clear waters. ✅ Helpful Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. ✅ Craft Store: The craft store on-site had some great hand made souvenirs that are perfect for remembering this amazing trip.
🤔 Room for Improvement ⚠️ Weather Constraints: The weather played a small role, as it was rainy during our visit. ⚠️ Accessibility: Definitely recommend booking a trip in advance, as Cenote Mariposa is somewhat off the beaten path.

Read more$400 Mx per person, without reservation. Two Cenotes. Life jackets required. The road there has a rope across that a local family controls. They have nothing to do with the Cenote entrance. Be aware. Once we arrived entry was 400mx/per person, a little high in comparison to other surrounding Cenotes. There was also a provided buffet that at first we were told we could eat from for $20 Mx/per person. When we went to pay they bumped it up to $200 Mx/ person. Red Flag. Beers were $75 Mx vs the usual $35-50 Mx. While the Cenotes were pretty and it was nice to see two in one place, the staff seemed manipulative and as if they were making up prices on the spot to get more money out of anyone who doesn’t fluently speak Spanish or Make sure to go early to beat the tour buses dropping off...

Just wished I had been warned before, so here you go. Rent a car or take the collectivo, much easier although you might have to walk a little.
Other thing not mentioned : apparently you have to book online? So we showed up and the lady requested 400 pesos/person, because the price of 250 is only for online reservation. Non-negotiable. We were drenched and exhausted after cycling and this just really made our day worse.
