Went around 330/4 had the place to ourselves until close at just after 5. Have very cool jumping platforms and swing ropes. Small amount of Terrapins and bigger fish than in other cenotes (no small little guppy like fish like in others ) spotlessly clean bathroom showers and changing room (unlike others) which was a welcome change also very reasonably priced at 250ppp with a free bottle of water. Nice new life jackets that are clean unlike others around area. Loungers lockers etc what more could you want. Only downside is might be a struggle from town or hotel area for those on push bikes probably need a scooter to get here as it’s another 12 mins or so after the gran cenote. Overall I would recommend this over others we visited. Even offered to stay open a little later as we arrived later in the day for us. Felt very welcomed and would go back again if I were to...

Lifejacket rental is $3 USD. If you do not rent a life jacket, you have to stay on the wooden platform in the water, just at the base if the stairs. Otherwise, with the life jacket, you can swim anywhere in the cenote. There are two ledges to jump from-one is 20ft in height and the other is a little less (both are supervised by staff) and also a rope swing below. Everyone has to rinse off at the shower station before entering the cenote. A photographer was on site taking photos & offering for viewing/to sell afterwards to individuals. When we went, this cenote was not crowded, very clean, water was cold and crystal clear. Take cash for life jacket rental & photos, if interested. Bathrooms also on site. I would definitely recommend...

It is a beautiful cenote, but the jump is from quite a height. Your muscles have to be relaxed when you hit the water, and make sure you either completely straight like a pencil or completely cannonball, otherwise you might injure yourself. The jump is deep enough that you will not hit rocks at the bottom, but even landing in the water incorrectly may cause you harm.

While we were there, someone had to be taken out on a stretcher because of an incorrect landing in the water, it caused a lot of muscle pain and injury. It is a dangerous activity, so please take precautions.

The cenote requires mandatory life vests for the jump, which they provide.

Overall,...

Those wannabe lifeguard will push you to wear vest, even if you know how to swim. Cenote is quite small. Paradox is they allow to jump small kids from 6m ramp without any vest and put the vest on, when in the water. What a joke. Place dost not have any restaurant, not even to buy coffee or water. It is far away from any shop/ bufet. Construction is still going on. We had to smell paintings, somebody was painting stones to white. Workers doing electric cables on toilers. For 250 pesos/ person it is a rip off. Do not go there. Santa Cruz cenote is much better, you can actually swim w/o vest and it has everything done including bistro.
