I was lucky enough to dive with this team for Woman’s PADI Day. This team are always looking for ways to “give back” and this was one of them. I have always seen on FB how they get involved in beach clean-ups, getting medical supplies to the island, helping out local families and children – the list is endless so I was super excited to finally get a dive with them and on a significant day! There was a lovely bunch of ladies on board, we were all set for an exciting afternoon! We are blessed in Cozumel that all the incredible reefs are within easy reach, and it helped having a smaller fast boat to get to the dive sites quicker, which is great especially if you tend to succumb to a little sea sickness! First dive was on my fav reef, Yucab, the currents were crazy, but living in Cozumel you get used to this! We had two dive master’s on board, which was wonderful and certainly not the norm. Both were excellent firstly prior to the dive with the safety briefing and secondly keeping us all together under the water – no mean feat! During the surface interval we were blessed with some homemade baking – thanks Elly! But not only that, there was a selection of fruit and cookies and of course cold water, so much for burning those calories! Second dive was done closer to town in the search of calmer waters, however the current was still ripping and we flew along the reef – we certainly saw a lot! Again the team kept the groups together, and the dive was ended slightly shot for safety reasons as the current had been so fast we had reached the end of the reef! It was great to know that it was always safety first! All the team were great, it was so lovely to be a part of the day – thanks Jenna for not only being an exceptional dive master but for your quick response to all communications, thanks to Danny who’s generosity and kindness is humbling, thanks to the captain and boat assistant for putting up with my cheeky ways and helping me with my camera. Amazing day, looking forward to coming...
Read moreWe had no opportunity to dive with them even though we were forced to register and prepay two sets of two tank dives. The first booking was cancelled because the afternoon dives did not take place in spite of being offered online, instead we were offered twilight dives or morning dives which didn't fit with our plans. And we discussed this before booking. Another day lost because it was too late to book with another operation. The second booking a day later was for morning dives. We showed up on time wearing wet suits ready to dive and only to learn that all diving and sailing was cancelled from 8 pm the previous evening due to high winds. BUT no one took the initiative to contact us by message or email to tell us that the dives were off. Bottom line: all dives were fully refunded and no diving took place. Credit card transaction fees were not refunded which are substantial. There would have been no CC fees if we had not been forced to pay everything at the time of booking instead of the time of diving. This policy reflects an unwillingness on the part of the dive operation to take customers at their word, fearing they'll be a no show. We learned that in Mexico it is common that there are so many parties involved in the dive business that each party acts like a bucket brigade passing money along. If the dive operator does not have 'cash in hand' they will not take the risk and book and pay for dive masters, boats or transportation. We do not agree with this business model and will therefore not dive further in Cozumel. It's mass market diving targeted generally at beginners who fly in flush with money to...
Read moreWe dove with these guys for a whole week, including two night trips and a guided shore dive right off the dock of our resort, the Coral Princess. The operation was super smooth. The entire crew and DMs were totally awesome and helpful. Miguel bent over backwards to make sure we were booked on the dives we wanted when we wanted. The boat dive DMs- Daniel and Dennis, are great at spotting wildlife and making sure you see it! We felt safe and confident in their capable and experienced hands. Dennis noticed I was light on weight (twice!) and hooked me up with extra lead underwater to make sure my dives were easy and enjoyable. Daniel noticed my mask kept fogging and did some extra cleaning/burning of the inside of the lens to alleviate it. Carlos was our shore dive DM-also great at pointing out wildlife and made many great suggestions for things to do on the island (also helped me find dive socks to match my go-to dive headband). The boat crew were also very warm and helpful-Francisco, Danny, and Camara. Camara is an absolute gem- so sweet handing out water and fruit between dives. He noticed I was cold on several occasions during surface intervals and was quick to find a poncho or jacket for me. 10/10 would dive with...
