We opted for the basic entry which was $20 USD each and we asked to pay in MXN pesos and they charged us $800 which we later discovered was a rip off. It should have been $680 pesos. The all inclusive rate was $65 USD. The place was really busy with cruise ship groups so we were told there is no room on the beach so we can sit in the restaurant area. It was super busy but we did manage to scope out some loungers on the beach. The cruise people left after an hour or so and the place was almost deserted. The beach area is small with some rocks and some inflatable toys for the kids. The water is lovely and clear and has the various shades of blue and turquoise that you see all around the island. The service was good but much better once it emptied out. The prices for food and drinks was a bit too high for the quality of the beach club. I have included the menu and some pictures. Would we come back, No. It is a bit more reasonably priced compared to the ones in the south of the island. Our bill for food and beers was $45 USD which we tried to pay using a credit card and the waiter presented us with the credit card machine and it had a total of $1180 MXN pesos. I refused this and asked to pay in $USD and he said that's the rate plus his tip. I refused to pay that and was told if I pay cash in $MXN pesos it was $900. It should have been closer to $770 MXN pesos. I had no option but to pay that. I am still miffed about being overcharged for the entry fees and exorbitant exchange rate on all they sell. My suggestion to avoid this rip off is: Make sure you pay in $USD CASH or they charge you their exorbitant conversion rate.

Our msc cruise stopped in this port. First time here asked the taxi people for a beach that has lots of beach front with chairs and umbrellas. We are a group of six people. They recommend this place, the picture they showed us showed miles of clean white sand beach with inflatables in the water chairs and umbrella spaced out, so we went there. There was a 20.00 dollar beach entry fee which was fine. Included chairs and umbrella. When we past the check in area the inflatables weren't in water, they were siting by the pool. I asked when they would put them in the water, was told that they are "out of order" which didnt make sense to me since all of them have air and were not flat. We asked that we would prefer that we all sit together under umbrella. When we got to the beach the chairs were stack so close together it was very uncomfortable. The beach was very rocky. They said there was not enough chairs for all of us to sit together and would need to split up. So I sat with one other person and remaining group sat together. We go in the water and when we go back to our beach chairs all of our stuff in thrown in the back on a single chair. When I asked why or who did this there response oh there was a a group of 11 people that wanted to sit together. So when our group of 6 wanted to sit together it wasn't possible but when a group of 11 wants to sit together then they will start thrown people's things away to make it happen needless to say this ruined my time in this port. Would definitely recommend not going to this beach would give 0 stars if possible. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN RUINED OUR FAMILIES TIME IN THIS PORT.

Disappointing "All-Inclusive" at Tequila Beach Club, Cozumel We booked a 4-hour all-inclusive package through Donna at Seahorse Extreme Tours at the Cozumel cruise port. Unfortunately, it was overpriced and NOT the experience she promised. PROS: • The water is CLEAR and beautiful. • The beach and water were mostly clear of sargassum. • Our server was friendly and attentive and really tried to make the best of the situation. CONS: • Shoreline and swimming area were full of rocks and boulders, making it uncomfortable at times and a little difficult to enjoy. • No beach or sand area to enjoy. • Wide selection of drinks, but everything we ordered tasted overwhelmingly of artificial sweeteners, even the 2-liter sodas. • Canned sodas were not part of the “all-inclusive” package and cost extra. • Food menu had plenty of options, but portion sizes were very small. Worse, each time we reordered, the portions got even smaller (ie. 1st order = 5 wings, 2nd order = 2 wings). Overall, it felt like the resort was doing the bare minimum to fulfill the “all-inclusive” promise. Between the poor drink quality, rocky beach, and shrinking food portions, I wouldn’t recommend Tequila Beach Club to anyone looking for a true all-inclusive experience.

Disappointing All-Inclusive Experience

We purchased the 4-hour all-inclusive food and drink package, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. • Drinks: Every drink was made with mixers and sodas containing artificial sweeteners, leaving a terrible aftertaste. After noticing other tables with brand-name canned sodas, I politely asked for a canned Coke but was told it would cost extra. When I questioned why, the staff explained that all-inclusive guests only get cheaper 2-liter bottles while regular customers get the cans. • Beach: The water was clean, but the sand and underwater area were extremely rocky, making it uncomfortable to walk or swim. • Food: With one hour left in our 4-hour package, we finally came out of the water to eat. The food was slow coming out of the kitchen, and the portions were shockingly small—for example, when we ordered wings to share among four adults, the plate came with only two wings. While the flavor of the food was decent, it was clear they were minimizing servings to stretch out the time. To make matters worse, we were cut off from ordering more food 10 minutes before our all-inclusive time was even up. • Service: The one bright spot was our waiter—he was excellent and attentive despite the restaurant’s limitations.

Overall, it felt like the package was designed to cut corners rather than provide value. Between the artificial sweetener drinks, slow and tiny food portions, and being denied service before our time was over, this is not a place I would recommend for an...
