I visited the Hermosillo Cathedral on a hot afternoon. It is located in the middle of a beautiful square. There were some vendors selling things, but I imagine the area comes alive in the evenings when it is not so hot. The cathedral was supposed to open at 4pm, but it was not open when I arrived. Beautiful example of Sonoran architecture! Located in El Centro the Catedral has areas to sit and take in the view, along with various street food vendors. The sad part of this is that this historic monument is not being cared for as it should be.
