Catedral Hermosillo — Attraction in Sonora

I visited the Hermosillo Cathedral on a hot afternoon. It is located in the middle of a beautiful square. There were some vendors selling things, but I imagine the area comes alive in the evenings when it is not so hot. The cathedral was supposed to open at 4pm, but it was not open when I arrived. Beautiful example of Sonoran architecture! Located in El Centro the Catedral has areas to sit and take in the view, along with various street food vendors. The sad part of this is that this historic monument is not being cared for as it should be. The exterior needs at the very least new paint, the benches outside are broken down and missing pieces to make the safe to sit on. It's beautiful...

Beautiful place, the main cathedral was open till late and the main park in front of it was full of people walking their dogs, people in skates,lots of vendors, it's was so colorful it was a breath of fresh air to be able to go to one of the safest states in Mexico, there was people dancing tango around one of the plazas!
