Nice calm water. Good for paddle boarding. Water stays shallow for quite a distance too depending on tide. Restaurants are nearby and convenient with good food and bev selection. Atmosphere was lively with a band performing at JJ’s Friday night. Sunday afternoon was quiet with only a few beachgoers and some clam hunters.

La cholla was an amazing little Mèxican town. It has ocean views, you can barbecue drink, and swim. It is not too far from El malecon and Playa bonita, yet it is a quiet place. I recommend it 100%. It was a holiday weekend in the States, but it was not too busy at La Cholla.

Chola Bay is a small fisherman town with it own vibes. Beautiful homes with great views but what is most precious is the bay tide. Family with kids and even adults goes treasure hunting when the bay is low You can walk far. When the tide is full so much fun. You can go paddle board or kayaking on the calm waters.
