🧐I would def suggest Crocs with heel strap, slides\sandals may fall off or get lost. Keep in mind the water is sulphuric & they have amazingly included nice bathrooms bc there's fishing events here annually, only bring ur soap\shampoo etc.
I came here w\friend from Veracruz, while crossing the suspension bridge the waterfall seems underwhelming and small. Afterwards he changed his mind bc the falls goes up the mountain & there's layers⛲. We went through many different tiers all the way down to the river which was where some of the best pics, vids were taken!
There's much 2 do in area although it's small. Blink and you'll 😶🌫️miss it! There's a little store right by the river for snacks, drinks, etc. this is also where you'll pay 4 parking if u came in ur own car. This store is very convenient, many would buy 3L for family, candy, chips etc
You can Zipline in\out of waterfall for 150p each way, you can take the boat and walk up stairs from river for 50p each way, or u can walk across bridge 4 free😎
A little farther down road & there's a mountain hike you can pay for with rappelling, caves or other tours🥳
So many ppl would come for a very short while, likely bc it was a tour 🤔. We came in our car which is nice bc we can stay long as we want and we took our sweet time seeing more of the falls or enjoying ourselves. Whereas others were rushed🥲
I had a hammock to throw up with speaker & power bank.
If you walk in like we did it's the longest way by far and if you're in decent health shouldn't be a prob@ball. Across bridge, 🙅🏽♂️ don't go up stairs to school, take a right (there's signs). Follow path, u can't get lost, it's very easy.......
Read moreJUST AMAZING! Words can not discibe enough how great and wonderful this place even is. Went with a couple of Canadian friends and we just all LOVED it. Did some rappel into the caves. Once inside the cave you get to walk around and either crouch down really low or craw if you´re too tall. This place you will get wet and dirty but it is more than worth it for it is an wonderful and magical place to vist. Our guide we picked up in another nabouring town was the one who told us about this small gem and told us we have to do it this way with the rappel and walking though the hanging bridge that this was the real and most fun way of doing it. The oter way you just cross the river by boat and walk into the cave. The rappel just is a lot better and damn amazing experience...
