Cenote Canunchen — Attraction in Yucatán

El lugar es amplio y agradable, nosotros fuimos en sábado y había algo de gente. El costo es de $100 por persona, te dan tu chaleco al ingresar, el cuál necesitas probarlo para saber sí es tu talla, si no para que te lo cambien, ya que lo debes de portar para entrar al cenote, y una vez saliendo del cenote lo entregas, y ya no lo puedes volver a usar. Cuando ya tienes tu chaleco, debes de ir a enjuagarte a las regaderas antes de bajar al cenote. Por lo que sí no vas con alguien que cuide tus pertenencias debes de salir a dejarlas al auto. Por lo que recomiendo al lugar que consideren por favor poner en la entrada una pequeña área de paquetería, ya que es realmente incómodo hacer todo este proceso de cambiarte, estar todo escurrido y salir hasta el estacionamiento a guardar las pertenencias. La experiencia de entrar al cenote es muy agradable, el agua es fría, pero rápido te aclimatas al comenzar a nadar. Mucha gente estila los clavados, por lo que el área de escaleras debe de quedar libre. Tal cual no hay un espacio libre de agua, por lo que debes de pensar en dónde dejar tu celular para las fotos antes de meterte al agua. Ya saliendo del cenote, puedes continuar en el lugar, ya que cuenta con alberca y tobogán. Existe el área de baños y regaderas. En el lugar no venden nada, por lo que sí puedes llevar bebidas o tu propia comida, ya que alrededor y en el camino no encontrarás nada de comer, más que diferentes cenotes, será hasta llegando al centro de Homun dónde encontrarás restaurantes. Al parecer la mayoría del turismo llega y salen en moto-taxi. Nosotros no llevamos nada porque leímos en las anteriores reseñas que no permitían en ingreso de alimentos, y llegando vimos a múltiples familias conviviendo en los diferentes espacios del cenote, comiendo, botaneando, y hasta una bocina había ambientando el área de la alberca. Our first cenote & we loved it! The cenote is wide enough to hold many people. It seems to be quite a popular one. Locals cheering others on when they jump from the higher platform. It's fun & they can be both sweet & funny. There's also a rope to swing into the water. Do take off anything that can easily slide off before jumping off the higher platform. Two people lost things when we were there. They require life jackets which come with the entrance fee of Mxn$50, & also to take a shower. The showers & toilets are kept very clean. This was one of our favorite because the place is very well and nice decorated and constructed, it's a concept. They charge $100 pesos per person with life vest included. The lodge is amazing it has several palapas, to eat, rest and nap in a hamac. They have a nice pool with two slides and it was great spot to finish the day. The cenote is enclosed but it is amazing, it has 3 platforms to dive into the cenote and the whole family had a blast.
