This wooden church, dating back to 1642, is a real gem, being the oldest of its kind in the country and the sole preserver of medieval Moldovan architecture. After nearly a century of neglect, the church was carefully taken apart, restored, and transported beam by beam to Chisinau. Interestingly, 85% of the beams and 70% of the iconostasis are original.
Nowadays, the church is bustling with activity, hosting baptisms and weddings. If you're lucky, you might witness one! There's also a small gift shop tucked away underneath.
