Directly across from the Catherine the Great Monument in Tiraspol, I also saw the statue of Alexander Suvorov. As a historical figure, Suvorov played a significant role in military campaigns that had a lasting impact on this part of Europe, including on Polish history, where his legacy is also seen in a negative light due to his role in suppressing uprisings. Still, it was interesting to observe how he is honored here as a national hero. The monument is striking and clearly holds symbolic importance in the city, reflecting how different nations remember and...

I had no idea this place existed until I stumbled upon it, It was a complete surprise to find this monument with the impressive coat of arms and flags. The unique Soviet-era imagery with the hammer and sickle really stood out and gave me a sense of a history I hadn't expected to encounter. It's a very striking and well-maintained landmark that adds a distinct character to the city. If you're walking around Tiraspol, it's definitely worth seeing, especially if you're interested in history or just want to see something...

Nice place, nice monument, but please read first who was Alexander Suvorov. Funny experience with flags of country; Transnistria is full agreed by Abchazija and Jużnaja Osietija … do you know this kind of country? Is it? Or just republic under Russian control? Check facts and ready history.
