We loved this Artisan souk and I recommend a visit as we passed a pleasant couple of hours meandering around the bazaar. The atmosphere is relaxed, the artists are friendly and passionate about their craft and it was a joy buying some quality products. The high point was buying well made stylish leather sandals from the friendly Yosef, beautiful smooth olive and Juniper bowls (lovely wood from wonderful trees), and honey from the lovely Sarah, all from very polite friendly souls. Obviously everyone wants to show you their stores and goods but it is not as pushy, many articles also have a set price (even though some negotiation is still possible for some) and that results in a nice experience.
