Since the day I was interested in visiting Indawgyi Lake, Face of Indawgyi was the go-to place for information and advice. I emailed them via the website's email, and straight away Patrick (co-owner) give me detailed directions and personal recommendation on my itinerary, via email as well as a phone call.
When I got to Indawgyi, Patrick and fellow co-owner Stephen warmly welcomed my friend and I. We rented their bamboo bikes and based on their recommendations went off to explore the nearby villages!
During my six day stay I went kayaking to the floating pagoda, went jungle trekking (a serious adventure!), read, talked, cycled, even bought a sword, and eat Shanni food (highly recommend Ayee Theeda Restaurant's shan noodles!).

Stephen and Patrick at Face of Indawgyi were incredibly helpful and responsive when it came to planning our trip. It is clear that they are very passionate about what they do. It is also impressive how knowledgeable they are about this unique environment and the communities living around it. Patrick and Stephen were easy to talk to from the get-go and incredibly helpful with lots of advice answering any questions I had.
