Apthaya Sunset Wine Garden Restaurant
The farm itself is quiet and cozy. And the weather is nice even though it's mid April.
I visit this winery during water festival season and they are open for business.
Unfortunately for wine lovers...wine tasting of 4 different types (for 2000 KS per person) is unavailable during this period. The 4 wines include Aythaya white Sauvingnon blanc, late harvest, rose and red.
I tired out their Rose wine and it's quite lovely and crisp. A glass (150 ml) for 2800 KS.

Read moreThis is a beautiful place. The grounds are lovely. The setting with vineyards and mountains... Wow. We only tried the one bottle of red. It was a Shiraz I believe. That was tasty. I almost dropped a star because they advertised BBQ, like Western style. It may hit the mark for Southeast Asia, but is not up to snuff for anyone from the West hoping for BBQ. Read moreI'd give this place 5 stars based on the landscape and sunset. Standard service, cheap tastings and fair price if you want a glass or two thereafter. I think this place would be great to visit via a taxi or driver so that you could stay during and after the sunset and also have a lot to drink.
