First thought 'definitely not worth the ride'. Sorry, but its how i felt. Its a one time visit spot. Plus the distance it lies from the main city is obviously the down side. For the locals to go there as evening meet up may be the actual utilization of the spot. However, if you planning to go and visit the place just because you saw it on social media, don't keep your hopes high. There is much more that should be added to actually boost it as a tourist destination. Plus the easy access to river down there, may add up to your fun, but its damn risk considering the diversity of animals found in the river and the forest. All things said, its a perfect place for you to fill up your social media feeds, esp. Insta and tiktok. And trust me, photos do come good with the backdrop the place provides. Read moreI have visited this place many time with family and friends. You will get relaxed, refresh and peaceful by seeing Beautiful street filled with Umbrellas which leads towards the river Rapti.
It's also known as a first umbrella Street of Nepal. You can get to see animals like Deer, Fox, elephant, Rhino and many more nearby the riverside. You will also get the see the Chitwan National Park which is the first national park of Nepal. It was established in 1973 as the Royal Chitwan National Park and was granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984.
Good place to take photo and hangout with friends and family.

I took my kids there and spent around 15-20 minutes as there's not a lot to do unless you're hungry. If you are they seems to have resorts and Street foods on both sides.
