One of the most well-known parks in Hetauda is Sahid Smarak, a special location built in the honor and remembrance of the Nepali Martyrs and located in the central Nepalese district of Hetauda. Martyr's Memorial (Martyr's Memorial Park) is the most famous tourist destination of Hetauda. Millions of people visit here every year. Mini zoos, picnic spots, amusement parks, suspension bridges, ornamental gardens are some of the attractions. There is a memorial stone carved in the face of 13 martyrs in the park. Additionally, it is a zoo where animals like deer, leopard, guinea, crocodile, tortoise and rabbit are accommodated. The wide area is especially surrounded by sal and pine trees. Different species of shrubs have shaped the park and the presence of palm trees can be seen. Some benches around the park allow visitors to relax in the shade and enjoy the view.
