MARDI TREK !

On the Mardi Himal Trek you get the views without the crowds. Expect authentic teahouses, stunning rhododendron forests and the most terrific views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. You will get eye in eye with giants like Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. What more do you want? The Mardi Himal Trek is one of the hidden gems when it comes to trekking in the Annapurna Region. Where most people would do the trek to Annapurna Base Camp, you have the opportunity to go around the corner of the map and get off the beaten track. The Mardi Himal Trekking adventure takes you to the base camp of Mardi Himal, right in the laps of Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre, dubbed Fish Tail Mountain. The Mardi Himal Trek can be found under the watchful eyes of Machhapuchhre, Fish Tail Mountain, one of the giants to be found in the Annapurna Massif. On this trek, you will find many stone houses, quaint teahouses, and many rock cairns. You can find the route of this trek just off the main trail to the Annapurna Base Camp. This fact makes it a popular alternative to other treks in the Annapurna Region like theĀ Annapurna Base Camp TrekĀ or theĀ Annapurna Circuit Trek.

The Mardi Himal Trek is a trek that you can find on a side trail of the one to the Annapurna Base Camp. It is a bit rougher, a bit more exciting for most but above all, a lot less busy than other treks in the Annapurna Region. The Mardi Himal Trek offers you great views of the lesser-known sides of the Annapurna.

you can find teahouses on this trek, but from about 2011 onwards there has been an increase of teahouses along the entire way from start to the Mardi Himal Base...

This is one of the best trekking destination in Nepal. Typically 3 day of trekking from Pokhara to the Mardi view point(4250meters)if you trek 4-5 hours at a comfortable pace.

In between trek and your night stay there are places like Deurali ,Forrest camp ,Low Camp and High Camp where you will get Hotels easily.

Trekking route has signs on trees and rocks so should easy not to miss the route.

One of the best experiences you can ever have.

I think late February to early April is the best time for Snow view.

The beautiful scenery , rhododendrons in the season ,the snow trails all add up to the thrill of your adventure. Trek alone ,couples or in a group for much fun with plenty of trees and stones printed with the arrows indicating the way. Hotels and lodges serve you with breakfast, launch ,dinner and even lodging is available. Per day per person cost if you travel comfortably would be around 1500-2500(15-25 USD). Besides have your trekking essentials including few medicines and a power bank.

When you reach view point it’s all worth it. Have fun...

The place is awesome as you can have a great view of Machhapuchhre and mardi himal at the same time. The trekking route is easy and can be done alone without guide but i request you to ask the fellow trekkers as there are cases of people being missed due to wrong route. From high camp to base camp the route is so steep and rough and there were few accidents too so be brave and walk slowly along with few friends. Rest at the tea shop before reaching to high camp. The route is difficult and uneasy if it get covered with snow. To make the matter worst the climate is unpredictable and after about 9 the fog gets covered all around and you can be lost and noone to find you so return as fast as possible if climate is bad. The trekking is moderate or inexpensive for anyone but offers a lot. There are adequate number of teashop in certain places and the service is good with decent food. But during the season it could be hard to get enough rooms so it's good to book the hotel rooms. I loved the whole journey and you would love too. Have great...

Mardi Trek is a beautiful adventure that combines stunning mountain views with peaceful natural surroundings. The trail is less crowded compared to other popular routes, which makes the experience calm and refreshing. Along the way, you walk through forests, traditional villages, and open ridges with breathtaking views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, and the Annapurna range. The trek is moderately challenging yet enjoyable, and the tea houses along the route provide warm hospitality and good food. It is a perfect choice for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas in a quieter and more serene setting. A highly recommended trek for nature and adventure lovers.

Mardi Trek is a moderate level 4-5 days trek from Pokhara to Mardi Base camp that provides us with a breathtaking view of Mt Machhapuchhre from a close range. The trek starts from Kande to Forest Camp on day 1 where you’ll have to walk through dense forest and can be frustrating at times. Ascend to High Camp on day 2 passing through Badaldanda and Low high camp. The challenging part of trek is on day 3 from high camp to Mardi base camp and you need to start the trek as early as possible. Return back and descend down to Sidhing . Take a jeep and return to Pokhara on day 4.
