This Lake is also known as the ice lake, there are many lakes in this area called the ice lake. It is fairly small and most trekkers walk past it on their way up Mt Gangapurna to acclimatise. Walking along beside the lake you can see the Gangapurna glacier. The Moran wall left by the retreating glacier can be seen clearly, a sign of global warming no doubt.
