We stayed at the Hotel Mountain Lake for two days to acclimatise before going up to High Camp. The rooms are basic but clean, they have a proper "western toilet" and a hot gas shower. But the best thing about this place is the food! Yes, you go to Nepal to experience the local culture and cuisine but after a couple of days of Dal Bhat/veggie Rice the food that Tashi and his crew are preparing is pure heaven. This means the menu has much more than most other places, and it's all really good.
