Really nice place for the whole family. Its a miniture zoo with lots of smaller animals amoung which alpacas, chickens, racoons, meercats, turtles, exotic fish, exotic birds, giant rabbits, owls, purcupines and more. You can buy food to feed the animals which I recommend as it makes it a bit more interactive. There is a lot of information about the animals and where they come from. All animals also have cute and funny names. The ambience is really cool. Its all set up as a jungle and savanna etc depending on where you are in the zoo. There are many tropical plants too and everything is labeled so you can learn about them. They even have giant lilipads and a huge aloe vera plant (bigger than me). There is also a cafe inside and outside with play areas for children. There is an assortment of cakes and sandwiches available in the cafe as well as ice cream, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The entry fee is €6 which includes a donation to the zoo. I recommend this option as its a contribution to expand the place and support the animals which has happened greatly over the past few years. Every time I visit there is something new to see and experience. Almere Jungle is run by lots of people with disabilities and their coaches which I think is great as it gives these people work oppertunities and they can be creative. Ive heard many good things about it. Should you be interested in dagbesteding (children and adults) you can contact them (see photos). Its located at Landgoed de Kemphaan which in itself is a amazing day out trip if you are a lover of nature, animals, hiking...

Decent place to take the kids. A good collection of small animals, reptiles and tropical plants. We went on a busy day and it took approximately 2hrs. Could’ve been better. Feels like half of the setups/ props were at least more than 10 years old and could use a facelift.

There are two park routes for indoor and outdoor animals. We missed the outdoor route due to lack of clear signs (or could be due to the crowd) and you can’t go back if you’re already out. Recommend to take the outdoor route as soon as you see it.

Would be a good idea to bring your own refreshments as we found the cafeteria to be expensive. Overall a good day out...

Wasn't too busy on a sunny Saturday, but was very, very hot inside. Pre-booked tickets with a slot online. The place is quite small, I was with 2 kids and I think we took around an hour-hour and half to see everything. It was nice to be able to feed the fish and turtles. Not a 5 star because honestly, it was just a little smaller than I expected and I wasn't too pleased with paying a full entry for a 2y old when most places let them in for free. That being said, it's not a bad place at all and kids had fun. We probably spent same amount of time outside in the cafe (sandpit!) as we did in the zoo ;).

I initially went there with a friend because we were told they had some nice exotic animals, which is not something that I normally gravitate towards but I still decided to go with my friend. But damn the collection of exotic plants they had was fantastic! Flowering Monstera Deliciosas, huge cacti, orchids, begonias, hoyas, succulents and much much more! If you are into plants, please go have a look! Tickets were fairly cheap, not the best customer service to be honest but I still think it is worth a visit 👌
