Zonnehuis — Attraction in Amsterdam

Charming small theater build in the 1930`s and a nice example of the architecture of this period.

Concerts, plays, conferences etc.

Located in Tuindorp Oostzaan, an example of the filosophy of that time that by building good houses in a pleasant environment 'the working classes would climb up the social ladder'.

Three years in Amsterdam and 2020 seems to be the year of discovering Amsterdam North. Situated on a quaint square, Zonneplein, Zonnehuis is the local amateur and professional theatre. Don't know much about its history, but a first time visit with the family and a children's play inside it's large theatre space means I'll be checking out their future children's program. It's worth the trip...
