Treasure Island Zeumeren — Attraction in Barneveld

The experience at Schateiland in Voorthuizen was unfortunately not positive. It was already difficult to figure out where to go with the car at the barriers and upon arrival, it was noticeable that the decoration was mediocre and many parts needed replacement or repair. The ordered pancakes for the children were burnt and dry, and the "healthy" ham and cheese omelette on old factory bread was also not impressive. The entrance price was on the high side, especially if you still have to pay extra for other activities. There are better options nearby, such as Boerderij Pret in Ermelo, where you can have a more enjoyable day for less money. The theme of Schateiland is not well executed. You pay for a lot of nothing instead, it is better to go to Mais doolhof or drive to any other place there are plenty of alternatives. We visited Schateiland with school. And I guess it caters this purpose solely: indoor, easy to park, easy to find your way. Its an indoor playground. You could call it convenient. But yet boring. And most definitely I would never go there without at least a large number of kids to play with. I guess the place needs an innovation upgrade. Its a thad worn down.

Expect lots of noise, also a bit smelly, dirty toilets, a sandy maze, swings, slides and some (pay) game slots. All with as overall theme: pirates.

Take note to plan your order. Tip 2: Park a full set of clothes for kids. So that you don't have to restrict them or worry about how wet and dirty they get.
